OVERVIEW

JADE's highly anticipated debut solo album That's Showbiz Baby! is bold, vibrant, and unapologetic.

Built on a foundation of pop and synth-pop, it stretches into disco, club, and electropop, creating a sonic world that's both nostalgic and futuristic. The record captures the thrill, heartbreak, and absurdity of fame while revealing JADE's most personal stories yet— messy, vulnerable, and full of glittering confidence: that's showbiz baby!

PRODUCTION

Channeling the glamour and power of Madonna, Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue or Donna Summer, JADE fuses traditional pop structures with hyper-modern production.

The beats hit hard, the choruses explode, and her unmistakably fluid and expressive voice takes center stage. Switching effortlessly from bold belts to breath falsetto, she uses harmonies, adlibs, and layered backing vocals to build emotional depth and theatrical tension. Synths, distortions and seamless transitions tie everything together, crafting a maximalist/hyperpop production.

It's glossy and confident, but never artificial— a carefully orchestrated chaos.

THEMES

FAME & THE INDUSTRY

JADE lays bare her love-hate relationship with fame and the music industry, exposing the cracks behind the glitter (Angel of My Dreams). She turns anger into empowerment, confronting control and exploitation with wit and defiance (IT Girl).

"Clause in the contract, contract gone. Gone is the girl that you could con" - IT GIRL

RELATIONSHIPS & INTIMACY

Whether she's needing space after a fight (FUFN), coming to terms with a toxic friendship (Natural at Disaster), indulging in sensual freedom (Fantasy, Midnight Cowboy, Lip Service), or embracing true love (Silent Disco), JADE explores many shades of love— messy, physical, and real.

"And it's our private party, might look a little stupid to them but to us it's something" - SILENT DISCO

INNER BATTLES

In her most introspective moments, JADE faces the dark voices in her head: confronting her own insecurities (Glitch), the weight of self-doubt in love (Headache, Self Saboteur), and quiet irrational comparisons (Plastic Box).

"Bein' here with you is like a prison. How you keep on killing my ambition?" - GLITCH

STANDOUT TRACKS

ANGEL OF MY DREAMS

The album's explosive opener and JADE's first solo single. Built like a pop odyssey, it shifts tempo and tone, blending pop, dance, and electroclash. JADE channels her complicated relationship with the music industry into a maximalist, theatrical masterpiece.

"Selling my soul to a psycho, they say I'm so lucky. Better act like you're lucky, honey" - ANGEL OF MY DREAMS

UNCONDITIONAL

A raw, emotional standout inspired by her mother's illness. JADE pleads her to take care of herself, powerless yet overflowing with love. The result is a stunning electropop ballad where vulnerability meets strength.

"If only my love could be your medication I could fix you so much better than your own prescription" - UNCONDITIONAL

BEFORE YOU BREAK MY HEART

Sampling Stop! In the Name of Love by The Supremes performed by young JADE, this track bridges Motown nostalgia with modern pop polish. It's a bittersweet plea to a partner on the edge of irreparably hurting her and the relationship. Emotional and irresistibly groovy, it's heartbreak dressed for the dancefloor.

"You're the one who inspired all my love songs and now you're tryin' to leave" - BEFORE YOU BREAK MY HEART"
